Coronado Island
Coronado Island has some of the most pristine beaches in the area. It also has some of the finest restaurants that serve fresh seafood caught locally. There is a waterfront park, plenty of shopping and many local artists displaying their crafts.
San Diego Zoo
The San Diego Zoo spans over 100 acres and houses over 3,700 species with some of these being endangered and rare animals. You can take part in one of their tours of the botanical gardens, behind the scenes and various animal exhibits. The zoo offers special programs on a regular basis as well as special exhibits that change often. For those that want to have an adult only zoo, visit they offer Wild Night Out.
