Where every ride feels first class

When forty of you land together at 4:15 p.m., almost nobody is at the curb at 4:15 p.m. Carousels give the bags back at their own rate, someone stops for coffee, and someone else finds their case on a different belt. We treat that spread, from the first person out to the last, as ours to manage rather than yours.
Los Angeles International (LAX) wraps nine terminals around one horseshoe, and a full-size coach cannot idle there while your final passenger wanders out. So, we wait a short distance away and come forward when you are all standing at the same door. Wedding parties, sales teams, and school rosters book our LAX charter bus on exactly that basis.
Arrivals sit below and departures above, and since LAX assigns different pickup areas to different commercial vehicle types, we confirm the exact meeting point for the vehicle assigned to your team. For passengers using standard ride-app or taxi pickups, reaching the LAX-it lot adds another step after baggage claim: they either walk there or take the airport shuttle.
A train was supposed to fix this. Until the APM opens, every vehicle shares one loop, and Century Boulevard slows from mid-afternoon onward. So, we hold a few minutes away instead of circling the terminals. Whoever leads your group sends us two words when the last case is off the belt. We come forward for a single stop.
The arrivals board tells you when the aircraft parked, and nothing about the queue inside Tom Bradley. We watch the hall instead, and we count heads rather than minutes. If your party lands split between two terminals, we bring everybody to the one with the shorter walkout. We apply the same principle to getting you from the gate to the door, no matter which flight you are on.
Some of our LAX groups are not staying in Los Angeles at all. They land there on long-haul or team itineraries, then continue south to San Diego in one vehicle, and plenty of them go home from the smaller airport up in Orange County.
Downtown fills for the big citywide shows, Comic-Con among them, and large vehicles across the county are booked out months ahead. If your dates fall within one of those weeks, tell us early, and we will hold something for you. For the rest of the year, bookings for our LAX bus rental usually end here:
Every one of those doors sets its own rule about what may stop where, and that matters more than the mileage. We confirm your stop with the venue in advance, and you don’t sort it out on the sidewalk. Not every group turns south either, and the same vehicle covers La Jolla, Temecula or the desert resorts.
Long-haul flights into Southern California land at this end, so your guests from abroad arrive here. A full aircraft from Sydney, Seoul or London brings several hundred people in at once, and forty of you arrive together. Meeting one coach beats chasing four landings across an afternoon.
College programs run the same numbers. Sixteen bags and a trainer’s kit fit one motorcoach, while our chauffeur drives the staff going ahead. That is how we get a full roster from the terminal to the hotel and out to the field.
When you are the one who booked it all, the worry is your own number on the itinerary. If three flights land ninety minutes apart, and every passenger has your name, we meet each one and hold in the lot between them, so nobody waits outside Terminal 4. We run around the clock, so a 1 a.m. landing reads like any other.
A Saturday wedding brings the family in all through Friday, and one vehicle running two loops spares everyone a rental car. Guests who have never driven the 405 do not have to start with it.
The vehicle in our fleet assigned here has two tasks: to quickly get you on board on the island, where there’s no second chance at the curb, and to take care of the drive to your destination.
Bigger arrivals usually pair two of these, with the van meeting the early ones and the larger one holding for the evening wave.
Afternoon backups through the Sepulveda pass follow a pattern, and so does the Sunday customs surge at Tom Bradley. We, at MIB Transportation, read both from the staging area, not from an app. That is what seventeen years here looks like in practice.
Want to know what our customers think about us? Take a moment to read our Google reviews and discover their real experiences with us: “Using MIB transportation for more than 7 years now, usually they meet my elderly parents visiting at LAX and drive them to San Diego, they are always on time, very professional, always clean cars, willing to go an extra mile for you, does not matter what your needs are. Good job!”
Send us your flight numbers and a headcount, and we will match our charter bus to LAX to the party that turns up. Call (858) 764-4467, email info@mibtransportation.com, or fill in our reservation form and let us take the arrival off your list.
At the terminal. LAX-it is the holding area for app cars and taxis. Those passengers take a shuttle out and a shuttle back, which takes them 15 to 25 minutes. We wait inside the loop and pull up to the outer island.
Not with bags. The horseshoe runs a long way around, and the free inter-terminal shuttle moves people a few at a time. We make two calls and put everyone on board at the second one.
Not yet. APM runs 2.25 miles across the property and has sat finished, tested, and empty for years. Airport pickup procedures can change as LAX opens new infrastructure. We confirm the current meeting point when you reserve and again before pickup.
